What’s a Kura?

I am often asked about the meaning of Kura and why I chose it as a name for my business. Ever since I saw an adorable fuzzy headed chicken at a 4-H fair many years ago, I became obsessed with Polish Chickens and have always wanted to raise them.  My husband is originally from Poland and suggested naming my business Kura as this word means hen in the Polish language.  I know – you were waiting for some deep, meaningful explanation and I now I just told you that I am a crazy chicken lady. Honestly, Kura resonates with me as it is the essence of what I am hoping to bring to my clients.  I want my projects to meet my clients’ needs and foster a sense of well-being to others while promoting a more sustainable planet for all of us. 

 Since I was a very young girl, I have always wanted to do my part to preserve our planet.  As humans, we are connected to the environment.  Our ability to thrive starts with ensuring that we are taking care of our physical and mental health. Next, we must create a sustainable planet and live harmoniously with our natural surroundings.  Kura Environmental Wellness is a way for me to honor my life-long dreams and support others in a holistic approach to living their best lives and creating a healthy planet.
